Soda The Salon is a creative hair studio located on the border of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads, offering a range of specialist hair services, focusing heavily on blondes, balayage, colour correction and precision cutting.  The salon plays home to a team of highly experienced hairstylists from all over Australia, and opens its doors 6 days a week (including 3 nights).  Soda prides itself on providing the clients a non-pretentious, relaxing, authentic, one-on-one hair experience, with a side of free comedy!

  • Three words - WE LOVE CUTTING. Like, really love it. From classic chops to French girl bobs, shaggy layers, pixies, beachy manes and Wolf cuts — we do it all. Every cut comes with a cleanse, dreamy head massage, and styling to finish. Bring your bestie, your nan, your man — we’ll sort the rest.

  • We offer a range of basin services, anywhere from OLAPLEX/ K18 / EVO TOP DROP treatments to extra glossy toners, basin balayage to cleanse those brassy ends, or simply a wash and head massage to brighten your day and lift your spirit. Let us make you feel better, you can thank us later.

  • Whether it be casual beach waves, an editorial look, wedding guest hair, a bouncy blow out, or an everyday street-ready look- We have you covered! We absolutely LOVE styling and we customise each styling service to suit your hair's unique needs. Our experienced stylists are well versed with all styling methods and can’t wait to style your mane for that next event.

  • If you’re the type who likes to kill all the birds in one killer appointment — we’ve got you! SODA offers a range of packages to suit all of your mane’s needs, and all in the one visit. Anywhere from a spruce up to a full head overhaul is on offer and each package includes an extended head massage and one-on-one doting from your chosen stylist. We love nothing more than a massive transformation and we take our time to make sure you float out if the salon feeling like you’re the best version of YOU!!

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Cian aka our Soda founder has been in the hair world for over 20yrs. She specialises in major colour correction, future-proof beach-blondes, 60's inspired shaggy cuts and everything in between . Cian's laid-back, professional, yet fun outlook is the driving force behind the Soda brand.

  • Sofia

    ADVANCED STYLIST

    Sofia is our very own Swedish in-house it-girl! Both her hair skills and personal style ooze that ubër cool look that we're all chasing in life. She's down-to-earth and super skilled in the hair world, and she's the type of hair chick you'll visit once and rebook for the rest of your life!! Sofia is your go to for lived-in looks, Scandi blondes, beachy blondes, longevity colours, cool girl cuts and everything in between. Best party is she's available for nights + Saturday bookings too.

    ADVANCED STYLIST

    Micah aka "Mr Northern beaches" is our very own Sydney boi. Micah has been in the hair world for close to two decades and has owned and run his very own salons in Sydney's Northern beaches. He's the go to bouncy blowdry guy, the trendy short haircut guy, the blonde everything guy and the self confessed "I love middle-aged women' guy. In a nutshell Micah is the guy you want to either see yourself, send your mum to see him, or even your trendy grandma!! He's wholesome as hell and so talented!

    ADVANCED STYLIST

    Georgia aka Gia is 10 steps in front of us all, whether it be her conversation skills or giving you the colour of your dreams, this style queen has you sorted. For all of you blondies wanting to achieve that to-die-for blonde of your dream, Gia is ya gal! Georgia is available to book Wed/Thurs/Fri including two evenings for the busy working peeps out there.

    Reigning from one of Brisbane’s most elite colour salons, this colour whizz will make your lived-in, beachy hair dreams a reality! She’s not only a colour specialist but can pull off a pretty good cut as well (and yes that means all of you textured/curly peeps).

    SENIOR STYLIST

    Emily, our unofficial salon manager/senior stylist. This gal runs circles around all of us behind the scenes, she's the boss and we all know it, haha. Em is our blonde hair guru whether it's lived-in, dimensional, bright or girl-next-door blonde, she has you covered. She is our leading star too when it comes to massive colour changes and corrections. Available to book: Monday 9-7pm & Friday 9-5pm.

    JUNIOR STYLIST

    Lilli our very own baby stylist aka little rising SODA star is now bookable for blow drys, global colours and regrowth tints . We call Lil our little garden fairy - she's arty, she's wholesome, she's witty, she's on-to-it, she's SODA'S all round wholesome little legend from country NSW that just gets it!! Being a baby stylist means that Lilli's pricing structure is relative to her time in the hair world so if you're wanting the job done at a fraction of the cost Lil is your answer.
